HX711 24-Bit Load Cell Amplifier / Weighing Sensor Module
Build your own digital weighing system with this HX711 load cell amplifier module. The HX711 is a high-precision 24-bit analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) designed specifically for strain gauges and load cells, making it ideal for electronic scales, force measurement and weighing projects.
The module amplifies the very small differential signal produced by a load cell and converts it into digital data that can be read easily by Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi and other microcontrollers.
Features:
Based on the HX711 24-bit ADC
Designed specifically for load cells and strain gauges
High-resolution digital weight measurement
Built-in low-noise programmable gain amplifier
Two differential analogue input channels
Simple 2-wire digital interface using DATA and CLOCK
Compatible with Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi and other controllers
Suitable for 4-wire and compatible bridge-type load cells
On-board power regulation and filtering
Low power consumption
Compact PCB design
Header pins supplied for soldering as required
Typical connections:
VCC / VDD – Power supply

Common applications:
Digital weighing scales
Kitchen or bench scales
Platform scales
Force measurement
Load monitoring
Automatic dispensing systems
Robotics
Inventory weighing systems
DIY smart scales
Industrial measurement projects
The HX711 is widely supported by open-source Arduino and microcontroller libraries, making calibration and weight measurement straightforward.
Chip: HX711
Resolution: 24-bit ADC
Interface: 2-wire digital DATA / CLOCK
Application: Load cells / strain gauges
Note: The HX711 module measures the electrical signal from a load cell. A suitable load cell or strain gauge is required to create a complete weighing system.
