CD74HC4067 16-Channel Analogue / Digital Multiplexer Module
Expand the number of inputs or outputs available on your microcontroller with this CD74HC4067 16-channel multiplexer / demultiplexer module.
The board allows up to 16 separate analogue or digital signals to share a single microcontroller input or output, making it ideal for projects where you need to connect many sensors, switches or signal lines but have limited GPIO pins available.
Features:
Based on the CD74HC4067 CMOS multiplexer IC
16 selectable channels
Can be used as a multiplexer or demultiplexer
Suitable for both analogue and digital signals
Uses only 4 digital address pins to select one of 16 channels
Includes EN / Enable control
Bidirectional signal path
Low ON resistance
Compact breakout-board format
Easy connection to Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi Pico and other microcontrollers
Useful for expanding ADC inputs or routing digital signals
Typical connections:
S0, S1, S2, S3 – Channel selection inputs
SIG / COM – Common signal connection
C0–C15 – 16 selectable channels
EN – Enable control
VCC – Supply voltage
GND – Ground
Common applications:
Reading multiple analogue sensors
Expanding Arduino analogue inputs
Multiple potentiometers
Button and switch matrices
Sensor arrays
Robotics
Data acquisition
LED and signal routing
DIY electronics projects
Test and measurement equipment
A useful module when you need to connect many inputs to a microcontroller without using a large number of GPIO pins.
