Solve power-monitoring challenges with this breakout board featuring the INA219B chip. It measures high-side voltage and DC current draw over I²C with 1% precision, eliminating the need for multiple multimeters.
Unlike low-side current meters, this chip handles high-side measurements up to +26VDC while powered by 3-5V, preventing issues with ground reference shifts. Ideal for monitoring battery life or solar panels, it measures up to ±3.2A with a 0.8mA resolution or ±400mA with 0.1mA resolution. Advanced users can replace the 0.1Ω sense resistor to extend the range (e.g., up to 32A with 8mA resolution).
The board includes a 6-pin header for breadboard use and a 3.5mm terminal plug for easy load attachment. Power the sensor with 3-5VDC, connect I²C pins to your microcontroller, and wire your target power supply to VIN+ and VIN-.
