The VEML6070 is a high-performance UV light sensor with a compact 2.35 × 1.8 × 1.0 mm design, using I²C for easy integration. Built with CMOS process and Filtron™ technology, it delivers excellent UV sensitivity, accuracy, and long-term stability, even under extended sunlight exposure.
It converts solar UV intensity directly to digital data, features built-in temperature compensation (-40℃ to +85℃), and offers a programmable ACK alert for UV index thresholds. Ideal for outdoor and sunlight monitoring applications, it operates from 2.7 V to 5.5 V and is immune to fluorescent light flicker.
