Description

Rain Sensor Module with LM393 Comparator

Features
Durable Build: FR-04 double-sided PCB (5.0 × 4.0 cm) with nickel-plated surface for excellent oxidation resistance, improved conductivity, and longer lifespan.
Clean Signal Output: Built-in LM393 comparator provides stable signals with strong drive capability (>15 mA).
Adjustable Sensitivity: Onboard potentiometer allows fine-tuning to match your application needs.
Dual Outputs:
Analog (A0) – Measures the intensity of rainfall.
Digital (D0) – Provides a simple high/low rain detection signal.
Wide Voltage Range: Operates from 3.3 V to 5 V.
Easy Installation: Fixed mounting holes for secure setup.
Compact Size: 55 × 40 × 5 mm (2.15 × 1.56 × 0.2 in).

Function
Connect to a 5 V power source. The power indicator will light up.
When dry, the digital output (D0) is HIGH, and the indicator LED remains off.
When wet, the digital output switches to LOW, and the LED turns on.
Wipe away the water, and the module resets back to its dry state.
Analog output (A0) can be read by a microcontroller (e.g., Arduino) to measure rainfall intensity.
Digital output (D0) can be directly used to detect rain conditions.

Applications
Robotics and weather monitoring projects
DIY raindrop detection systems
Environmental and smart agriculture monitoring

Wiring
VCC – Power supply positive (3.3 V–5 V)
GND – Ground
D0 – Digital output (rain detected: LOW / no rain: HIGH)
A0 – Analog output (rain intensity level)

Package Includes
1 × Raindrop sensor board
1 × Control board
2 × 20 cm DuPont jumper wires for easy wiring
